ANGLESEY TRACK DAY INFORMATION
Anglesey is well suited to track days as it offers large, modern run-off areas, a fantastic mix of slow, medium and fast corners, combined with big gradient changes. Anglesey Circuit is a very well designed track which is enjoyable in any category of car.
The Anglesey Circuit is 12 meters wide, although when driving around it sometimes doesn’t feel like it! In many people’s opinion the Coastal circuit is best, allowing full enjoyment of the Corkscrew.
HISTORY: Anglesey is owned by the Bodorgan Estate and runs many race days and track days throughout the year. The site was temporarily sold to the Army in 1941, when it was used for a rocket launching area. The Anglesey track was overhauled in 2006 and now there are four differing configurations for track days. Fifth Gear often uses the circuit for their car comparison features.
SUMMARY: Anglesey is a superb circuit for track days with the great mix of corners, making it more than worth the journey.
