PEMBREY ON BOARD VIDEO & DIRECTIONS
PEMBREY TRACKDAY INFORMATION
CIRCUIT: Pembrey is a terrific circuit for track days. Hidden in a remote corner of south Wales, Pembrey is a long way from most places. However, the trip is well worth it, with the track including some fascinating bends. I (SM) have tested F3 cars here a few times, relishing the flowing nature of Pembrey and I can fully recommend it to any track day driver.
Corners such as Spitfires, Dibeni Bend and Paddock all flow into each other seamlessly with a driver needing to be fully ‘on it’ to get the most out of the car.
Honda Curve is another favourite at Pembrey, a fast right hander that leads on to the start/finish straight. As it leads on to the main straight in is very important to get a good exit, a lot of time can be won or lost here.
HISTORY: The first race meeting took place at Pembrey in 1989 and the circuit has been used every since for race meetings, testing and track days.
SUMMARY: Pembrey is a genuinely excellent circuit. Race and track day drivers love the flowing nature and high speed bends found here. I would say Pembrey is one of the top venues for track days in the UK.
